MADE IN ITALY & SAFETY TESTED
most lifetime UV damage occurs during childhood and risk for retinal damage is greatest in kids less than 10... that's why our shades block 100% uva/b/c rays, are BPA free, small parts tested and proudly made in Italy. Little People Deserve Big People Shades.
SUPPORTING AUTISM CHARITY
our name relates to our cause: teachers tell us playing ro•sham•bo (aka "rock, paper, scissor") is a fun tool for kids needing attention. we also walk the walk... a portion of all sales supports Surfers Healing, a charity teaching autistic kids surfing, pride and confidence.
ro•sham•bo baby is entirely owned and operated by San Diego family Scott, Julia and their baby girls, Avery (4) and Chloe (1). Our philosophy with kids sunglasses is simple: Little People Deserve Big People Shades. That means making our stylish baby shades in Italy not China. That means making them unbreakable, flexible, and even safe to chew. That means no BPA, no pthalates, no lead, and no painted logos or designs. That means a full damage and lens replacement guarantee to stand behind our product. That means an affordable and high quality online kids prescription glasses service (like Warby Parker for kids!). And that means supporting autism charity with every sale.
We walk the walk too: we employ a young man named Ben on the autism spectrum to construct our packaging for us. He is awesome and works incredibly hard to make sure we can send your baby sunglasses out to you in time and looking great!
Thank you for supporting our vision (and you kids' vision!). We hope to be your go-to family sunglasses and online kids prescriptions company for a long time! You can learn more about our family sunglasses in the video below, our video library, our the About Us page, and don't forget to check out our kids UV protection page to learn about the importance of kids sun protection. - Scott, Julia, Avery & Chloe
